Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver physical therapy interventions exactly as outlined in the PT plan of care
Document patient progress, response to treatment, and any changes in condition
Empower patients through education and customized home exercise programs
Keep the supervising PT in the loop with clear, timely communication
Champion safety, infection control, and compliance standards every step of the way

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active Maryland PTA license (or the ability to obtain one)
Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
A genuine passion for helping patients restore mobility and independence

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

Physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques
Therapy interventions and home exercise programs
Patient education and clear communication
Clinical documentation and accurate record keeping
Infection control and compliance standards
Team collaboration and adaptability
