Benefits 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Parental leave Job Details Position: Intake Coordinator Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday Location Compassionate Care operates in six locations: Fresno, Visalia, Modesto, Merced, San Luis Obispo, and Bakersfield in California. Responsibilities Email marketing team regarding referrals received. Verify patient insurance and add to batch. Screen patients using medical knowledge. Schedule Start of Cares (SOC’s) for patients with appropriate clinicians. Verify demographics, physician, and additional contacts. Enter all information into the EMR system. Check all fax lines for incoming referrals. Qualifications Medical office background required. Compensation negotiable based on experience. Opportunity to accumulate overtime. Immaculate phone presence, computer skills, and office etiquette. Bilingual in Spanish, Hmong, or Punjabi is a plus. Strong multitasking capabilities and ability to work under pressure. Ability to work well in a fast‑paced environment. Prior customer service and/or sales experience is a plus. Strong commitment to high‑quality care and customer service. Excellent communication and listening skills, particularly via phone. Proven track record of managing processes with strong attention to detail. Patience and compassion in dealing with patients. Positive, can‑do attitude. Confidence and creative problem‑solving skills. Flexibility in schedule, including hours outside the standard week and possible weekend hours. Medical knowledge preferred.
