RN - Clinic

Registered Nurse Provide professional nursing care to patients following established standards, practices, and healthcare techniques. Demonstrate competence in making professional judgments pertaining to patient care. Assist providers in patient care and education. Actively participate as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of patient care. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions is essential. Familiarity with office procedures and medical terminology is required. Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines is necessary. Must be able to administer a variety of medications and treatments. Utilize various types of equipment for examination and treatment procedures. Working conditions may include a fast-paced and stressful environment. May be exposed to communicable diseases and other conditions common to a clinic environment. Requires full range body motion including lifting patients, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination. Position may involve sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods. Occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 pounds is required. Corrected vision and hearing within normal range is necessary.
