Strategic Planning Manager

Develop and implement strategies to achieve organizational goals in support of sales of Daikin’s commercial and residential HVAC products. Support M&A opportunities and Daikin’s West Division Sales team in sales strategy, corporate strategy implementation and business development activities. Build relationships with strategic partners and act as liaison between Daikin West division and corporate functions. Proactively conduct comprehensive business and data analysis to uncover strategic opportunities for business development and expansion, profitability enhancement, and to achieve budgeted financial targets. Drive cross‑functional stakeholder alignment between Division Sales, Division Sales Planning and Corporate HQ to achieve company and divisional strategic goals. Support the sales team to develop division’s customer‑wise and product‑wise revenue‑volume based budget and forecast, improving forecast accuracy and elevating supply‑chain efficiencies. Utilize knowledge of financial modeling, Python, Tableau, Microsoft Office, VBA, MS Project, C, SQL, Alteryx, Qualtrics, Six Sigma Lean Methodology and Google Analytics to support transformative strategy development through the implementation of digital tools that visualize mission‑critical and confidential data. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for digital transformation, automation of data tabulation and visualization tools, adoption of Salesforce CRM and other ERP software, and support M&A opportunities, business case due‑diligence and deal execution. Work on building strategic partnerships that align with the company’s strategic objectives, analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, formulate sales strategies and key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions to improve results. Lead, coach, and provide training and development programs to teams to enhance performance and contribute insights to the company’s overall strategic planning process. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in data gathering, analysis and reporting using databases, reporting tools, and Excel; including three years of experience in SQL, VBA, Project Management, Analytics, budgeting and forecasting, financial and business analysis, data visualization, KPI tracking and management.
