Prep Cook / Line Cook88 Tactical is seeking a dependable and hardworking Prep Cook / Line Cook to join the Founders Club culinary team. This position supports daily food preparation and works assigned stations during service to help maintain efficient Back of House operations.Typical shifts are 7:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., although additional shifts may be available based on business needs. The ideal candidate performs well in a fast-paced environment, works effectively with a team, and takes pride in consistent food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and organization.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare proteins, vegetables, sauces, dressings, garnishes, and other food items according to established recipes and kitchen standardsComplete daily prep lists accurately and efficientlySet up and stock assigned stations before serviceCook and prepare menu items according to recipes, ticket specifications, and presentation standardsManage multiple orders while maintaining accuracy, quality, and appropriate ticket timesEnsure the kitchen is fully prepared for lunch, dinner, banquet, and special-event serviceMaintain consistent portioning, cooking temperatures, and plate presentationFollow all food safety, sanitation, allergen, and health department requirementsLabel, date, store, and rotate inventory using FIFO practicesMonitor station inventory and communicate low-stock items to kitchen leadershipRestock and maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout each shiftProperly cool, store, and secure food and equipment at the end of each shiftSupport banquet, catering, and special-event preparation and service as neededWork collaboratively with culinary leadership and Front of House employeesAssist with dishwashing, cleaning, and other general kitchen responsibilities when necessaryComplete opening, closing, and side-work duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious prep cook, line cook, or professional kitchen experience preferred but not requiredAvailability to work typical 7:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. shiftsAvailability to work weekends, holidays, and additional shifts as neededAbility to follow recipes, directions, and established kitchen procedures consistentlyAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailBasic understanding of kitchen equipment, food preparation, and food safety practicesStrong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a positive attitudeTeam-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist wherever neededAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsCommitment to hospitality, food quality, cleanliness, and teamworkBenefits & PerksCompetitive compensationHealth, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employeesCompany-paid life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability401(k) with up to a 4% company matchPaid time off that increases with tenureEmployee discounts throughout the facilityComplimentary employee membership perks
