Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care
- Document patient progress and response to treatment per state, federal, and facility guidelines
- Assist with patient education and development of home exercise programs
- Communicate patient status updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state PTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Ability to follow established treatment plans and collaborate within interdisciplinary teams
