Pork Belly Farmhouse - Server Job Description Pork Belly Farmhouse, serving contemporary Southern Cuisine invites energetic, friendly Servers to join our team providing amazing food, drink and Southern Hospitality service to our Guests who are treated like neighbors and family! Server Position Details The Pork Belly Server ensures all guests are provided with exceptional prompt service. The Server describes menu items, assists in making food and drink selections, takes and enters orders, delivers food and beverages, processes payments, and assists fellow team members to ensure overall guest satisfaction at Pork Belly Farmhouse. Responsibilities/Qualifications Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive. Greets and welcomes guests, inviting them back as they leave. Ability to work positively in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a team. Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time and can lift 35 pounds as needed, using hands and arms, bending, reaching and twisting. Prepares room for dining by setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils. Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies. Helps guests select food and beverages by presenting menu, offering cocktails/beverages, suggesting courses, explaining the chef's specialties, identifying appropriate wines, answering food preparation questions. Identifying patrons' special dietary needs and special requests. Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression. Responds to additional guest requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process and is responsive at all times. Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs. Education and Experience Requirements High school graduate or equivalent is preferred, knows basic math skills. Minimum 2 years’ full‑service restaurant experience preferred.
