Seeking a Neuropsychologist or Health Psychologist to provide expertise in diagnostic evaluations, follow up assessments, and treatment for neurodegenerative conditions and memory disorders, including Mild Neurocognitive Disorder, Alzheimer's disease, and related dementias.

Core responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis/Treatment
  • Administer/interpret neuropsychological tests (e.g., pencil-and-paper, computerized, verbal, and visual memory tasks) to assess cognition, mood/behavior, and function.
  • Perform biopsychosocial evaluations
  • Differentiate between Alzheimer's, normal age-related changes, and other conditions such as psychiatric disorders or other causes of cognitive decline.
  • Measure treatment response and review results.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to develop plan of care for patient and loved ones

Essential skills and qualifications

• Education: A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology, followed by specialized postdoctoral training in neuropsychology. Must be licensed in the state of Massachusetts .
• Clinical skills: Expertise in assessing and treating memory disorders/dementia disorders, and proficiency in various testing methodologies, working with the adult to older adult population.
• Interpersonal skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
