If you are hardworking, dedicated and looking for a change in your career, we may have an opportunity for you!We are proud to offer:Competitive compensationComprehensive healthcare benefits401(k) retirement plan with company matchingPaid time offPaid HolidaysA closed-door pharmacy work environmentOpportunities to advance and grow your careerAnd More!Duties & ResponsibilitiesAccurately and efficiently enter new or renewed ordersAdjudicate insurance claims and resolve rejectionsProperly handle order exceptions and clarifications such as refill-too-soon, invalid orders, etc.Communicate effectively with leadership and peersAchieve or exceed productivity standards in a fast-paced environmentRequired Skills & Qualifications:Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3 years preferred.Must possess a State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.Experience with FrameworkLTC is required.Type an average of 60 wpm.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Can meet order deadlines.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.Can perform pharmacy calculations.Is available for occasional overtime.Must obtain a State Board of Pharmacy Technician License within 12 months of employment if not already certified.Required Skills & AbilitiesMinimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3+ years preferred.Must possess a KS State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.Preference on PTCB Certified.Type an average of 60 wpm.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Can meet order deadlines.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.Can perform pharmacy calculations.Is available for occasional overtime.Physical RequirementsMust be able to withstand long hours of computer screen time.Repetitive motion deskwork.Tarrytown Expocare is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
