Job Overview Manager – Construction, California Experience: 5+ years in multifamily construction, 2+ years as lead Superintendent. Salary: $140,000 – $185,000 per year, plus bonuses and 401(k). Responsibilities Oversee all project phases, bringing projects on time and under budget. Maintain site safety, promote a safety-first culture, and administer Quality Control program. Plan, schedule, and coordinate schedule to achieve high degree of efficiency. Provide vision, leadership, and motivation to all team members and subcontractors. Lead effective meetings with team members, subcontractors, clients, and architects. Understand all project documents including plans, specifications, contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions, special inspectors, and utilities. Maintain appropriate documentation, including daily job logs, safety reports, and timekeeping. Conduct and/attend Foreman meetings, pre-task meetings, safety meetings, and project staff meetings. Work with client, architect, project team, and subcontractors to creatively and expediently resolve issues that arise during construction. Qualifications 5+ years of multifamily construction experience at a General Contractor. 2+ years of experience as lead/primary Superintendent supervising project teams. Extensive experience with 200+ unit ground‑up multifamily and mixed‑use projects. Proficiency with MS Project (or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Procore software.
