Assists the District Planner by providing demographic and logistical planning developed from data sources and geographic information systems by performing the following duties.WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Creation and maintenance of district-wide mapping. Creation and maintenance of a facility database. Creation of school district maps for attendance and walk boundaries. Application of demographic and socioeconomic community data sources to the district geographic boundaries for planning and grant‑writing purposes. Responsible for research and data analysis to support zoning changes and permit processes for facilities maintenance and construction projects. Use of GIS mapping systems. Windows-based graphics, spreadsheet and word processing programs in support of district planning efforts. Development and maintenance of classroom utilization data for all schools. Collection and analysis of data for use in the annual Capital Projects Fund budget. Maintain Planning web site. Provide support for interactive mapping site.WHAT YOU’LL BRING: SKILLS AND MINDSETS:
