Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Hood River, OR Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Obstetrics and Gynecology Hourly Pay Rate ($): 1.00 Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrics and Gynecology provider for locum coverage in Hood River, OR. This position involves both inpatient and outpatient care, with a flexible schedule that can accommodate either 1 week on/1 week off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotations. Providers will work in the clinic on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and will participate in 8 shifts of call per month, including weeknight beeper and 24-hour weekend beeper call. Call shifts are sporadic and may be split between providers. One weekend of 24-hour call and multiple weekday call shifts are expected. The shift times are 8 am-5 pm for clinic, 7 am-7 am for 24-hour call, and 5 pm-7 am for night call. Candidates must be able to perform both OB and GYN procedures, including assisting with deliveries, in-office procedures, and minor surgeries. You should have active Oregon licensure, current CV, DEA registration, BC or BE certification within 3-5 years, and BLS & NRP certifications. Case logs demonstrating recent OB and GYN privileges are required. Provider minimum shifts are 8 hours per day, with overtime applying after 9 hours. Compensation rates should be detailed in your bid, including clinic and call pay, orientation, overtime, holiday, night call, 24-hour call, and call-back rates.
