All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and company policies, practices, and procedures to ensure overall facility integrity.The Starting Rate: $37.86 Per HourDay-to-Day Responsibilities:Perform routine to complex maintenance and repair work on painted and papered surfaces and systems throughout the property, responsible for completion of all jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management and maintain logbooksOperate power and hand tools to complete job assignments in a timely manner; to include ability to operate conventional and/or airless spray equipment as requiredPrepare surface to be painted, paint and install wall covering, adjust paint to proper color as necessary, patch, tape and texture and acoustic as necessaryWork under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely mannerKeep informed and updated on current technical methodsAdvise Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions within the propertyUnderstand the layout of the property, hotel rooms, and equipmentMaintain constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety and accident prevention, able to wear/use personal protective equipment (p.p.e.)Ideal Candidate Requirements:Must be 18 years of age or olderMust obtain a valid driver's licenseHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent RequiredWork varied shifts, including weekends and holidays RequiredTechnical school or completed apprenticeship in similar trade PreferredPerks & Benefits:Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentallyAccess to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and moreFree meals in our employee dining roomFree parking on and off shiftHealth & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees)Professional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the community
