COBOL Developer for AI Training

Provide expert COBOL and mainframe knowledge to translate legacy system logic into high-quality inputs that train and improve next-generation AI models. You will analyze existing COBOL codebases, produce precise technical documentation, and annotate examples so machine learning teams can learn from accurate, real-world mainframe scenarios. Prior AI experience is not required; domain expertise in COBOL and mainframe systems is the core requirement.

• Analyze and interpret existing COBOL codebases to extract business logic, workflows, and data flow.
• Create clear, accurate documentation of COBOL logic, program flow, and business rules for use in AI training datasets.
• Evaluate sample code and project scenarios, identifying ambiguities, edge cases, and potential misinterpretations.
• Review and annotate COBOL scripts or pseudocode to support building robust machine learning inputs.
• Design test cases and scenario outlines that reflect real-world COBOL applications and behaviors.
• Collaborate with project coordinators and other technical experts through written and verbal communication to ensure consistency and technical accuracy.

• Proven experience and deep proficiency in COBOL development across one or more business domains.
