Job Summary:
An Operating Room (OR) Nurse is sought for a full-time position in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The role involves providing specialized nursing care in the operating suite, including experience with Pain Procedures, Preoperative, and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Location: Santa Fe, NM
• Position Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: 4 Days - 10 Hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) required; RN License in the state of employment or under a compact license; Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred; 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• Responsibilities: Provides routine and complex nursing care following the nursing process, assessments, diagnoses, planning, intervention, and evaluation for patients in the operating room. Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocol, monitors for side effects, documents patient information, and educates patients and families as needed.
• Additional Information: Must have experience in Pain Procedures, Pre Op, OR, and PACU, with pain procedure injections typically performed in the OR setting.
