Nursing Position At BMH NEA Hospital

Coordinates and provides care utilizing the critical thinking framework known as the nursing process. The nursing process forms the foundation of the nurse's decision making to help partner with patients/families to attain, maintain and restore health whenever possible. Blends caring, compassion, knowledge and integrity to provide safe quality care that preserves patient autonomy, dignity and rights. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include assessing the patient, developing the plan of care, implementing the plan of care, evaluating the plan of care, administering medications as prescribed, providing patient, family, and/or significant other health teaching/education, participating in activities designed to improve health care delivery, communicating/collaborating with others in providing patient care, providing clinical leadership, supporting life long learning, and completing assigned goals.

Minimum required education includes an RN license with 2+ years of experience, to include weekend shifts as required, and must work 36 hours of special staffing time annually. Minimum required licensure includes RN; BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Minimum required special skills include computer literacy.
