About Us Soccer Stars is the leading youth sports program for children ages 12 months to 13 years in Long Island and Eastern Queens. Our acclaimed program provides an energetic, enjoyable, and age‑suitable introduction to the fantastic game of soccer by offering classes, camps, and clinics held in schools, community centers, and local parks. We take pride in our creative curriculum, which focuses not only on soccer skills but also on fostering social skills and character development, creating a positive and lasting impact on every child we coach. We also offer multisport programs as well as non‑contact martial arts programs! The ideal candidate would have availability on the days and times listed below. Candidates must have consistent availability for the classes they are hired for. Candidates with flexible or open availability are preferred. There may be work in surrounding towns as well such as Manhasset, Great Neck, and Syosset on weekday mornings and afternoons. Saturdays 9:00am-2:00pm Sundays 9:00am-2:00pm Responsibilities Show up on time for each class and be prepared Use individual attention to ensure every child succeeds Maintain a non‑competitive, stress‑free environment Use positive reinforcement to encourage children and celebrate success Continuously improve by attending regular training sessions and following the Super Soccer Stars Coaching Manual Qualifications Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to local schools with reliable transportation Passion for sports/fitness and experience working with children, especially ages 1‑5 Background in fitness, athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, or physical education is a plus Experience working with children (camp counselor, elementary substitute teacher, coach, etc.) is a plus At least 18 years of age Must be able to pass a background check Benefits & Incentives Flexible schedules Training and equipment provided Refer a coach & receive up to $200 (candidate must work for 6 months) Opportunities to work full‑time and even become a franchise owner #J-18808-Ljbffr
