Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Requirements

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred
  
• Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
  
• Ability to accurately obtain and document patient vital signs
  
• Strong communication and customer service skills
  
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  
• Basic computer and electronic medical records (EMR) experience preferred
  
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  
• Reliable attendance and professional demeanor
  

Key Responsibilities

• Check and record patient vital signs, height, and weight
  
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure the front office is clean and ready for patients
  
• Schedule patient appointments and manage daily calendars
  
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
  
• Receive, register, and direct patients to the appropriate examination areas
  
• Maintain accurate patient charts and documentation
  
• Stock exam rooms with necessary medical supplies
  
• Assist providers with general clinical and administrative duties
  
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
