Position Summary The Licensing Specialist is responsible for supporting advisor licensing, contracting, hierarchy maintenance, and commission‑related processes. This role serves as a key liaison between advisors, insurance carriers, internal sales teams, and operational departments to ensure requests are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with carrier requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service while managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Process advisor licensing, contracting, hierarchy, and commission‑related requests accurately and timely. Review submitted documentation for completeness and accuracy, and communicate deficiencies as needed. Maintain carrier commission schedules and ensure compensation information is current and available to internal stakeholders. Research, analyze, and resolve commission discrepancies and payment‑related issues. Partner with Finance and insurance carriers to investigate and correct commission errors. Serve as a resource for advisors and internal teams regarding licensing, contracting, and carrier requirements. Build and maintain effective relationships with advisors, carrier partners, and internal departments. Respond to advisor inquiries via phone and email with professionalism, accuracy, and urgency. Monitor requests through completion and provide proactive status updates to stakeholders. Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the advisor experience. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Desired Skills & Experience 1–3 years of administrative, operations, customer service, or financial services experience. Financial services, insurance, licensing, contracting, or commission‑processing experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems and carrier platforms. Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow‑through. Ability to build productive working relationships with both internal and external partners. Why Join Us?
