Full-time CustodianFull-time positionImmediately eligible for health benefits, life insurance and retirement (pension)40 hours per week12 Month Position (Year Round)Location: Coulter Grove Intermediate SchoolPay Range: $17.64/hour (starting pay rate with no experience)Work Related Experience, Skills, AbilitiesPreferred- Successful maintenance/cleaning experiencePreferred- Skills, abilities, experiences in light maintenance, inspections, general cleaning, management of personnelThe ideal candidate will have abilities to positively communicate, collaborate and work well with others.Qualities of a Desired Candidate Include:A track record of success as evidenced by positive relationships, positive communications and strong recommendations from previous employers.Ability to contribute strongly and positively to a teamPast positive experience in leading and/or managing workersMust be a positive role model for students!Must be a self-starter and a hard worker!Responsibilities:General Cleaning- (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and other general cleaning) Administrative offices and areas, kitchen, storage closets, café dining areas, daily kitchen and dining garbage removal, etc.) Other areas as needed or directed throughout the school day to include cafeteria, bathrooms, locker rooms, classrooms, and gymStocking (Re-stock and re-order towels, hand soap, toilet tissue, trash liners, etc.)Light maintenance- Changing light bulbs, moving furniture, unloading trucks, and other requests as needed by school administration.Inspections/Reporting- Inspect previous shift cleaning, reporting deficiencies to supervisorAbility to perform any physical duties associated with this position (e.g., lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, sitting for long periods of time, walking, seeing, standing for extended periods of time, etc.)Other duties as assigned by administrationFLSA Status: Non-Exempt
