This hospital-based outpatient oncology clinic in Waterford, Connecticut provides specialized hematology and oncology services to an adult patient population within a structured on-site setting. The facility operates with an established clinical support team that includes oncologists, an APP, social workers, dieticians, clinic nurses, infusion nurses, and medical assistants to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery. Clinicians will provide on-site outpatient hematology and oncology coverage at a hospital-based clinic in Waterford, Connecticut, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or on a 4x10-hour shift schedule depending on candidate preference, managing 10-15 patients per day with no call or weekend obligations. The clinical scope encompasses the evaluation and management of general hematologic and oncologic conditions within an outpatient clinic setting, with the expectation that clinicians possess strong oncology experience and the ability to work independently. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system for patient encounters and treatment planning activities. Hospital privileges are required and can typically be obtained within 2-3 weeks, depending on work history verification.
