About the Position The Division of Pulmonary, Asthma and Sleep Medicine is recruiting two Clinician Educators as Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor. The role involves clinical care at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and California Pacific Medical Center, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and engaging in research, quality improvement, and program development. Responsibilities Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical care in pediatric pulmonary medicine. Participate in the didactics of medical students, residents, and fellows. Engage in research activities across the full range of Stanford University. Contribute to quality improvement and program development. Produce scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need of the department. Qualifications MD/DO degree and Board Certification in Pediatrics. Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine. California Medical License by the time of hire. Strong consideration for candidates with Board eligibility or certification in Lung Transplant or Sleep Medicine. Outstanding clinical skills with dedication to teaching and mentoring trainees.
