Lab Technician

Laborer/Operator We are looking for a Quality Control Technician to support our quality and testing operations. This position is responsible for performing routine testing, inspecting materials and products, documenting results, maintaining testing equipment, and helping ensure our products meet established quality standards and specifications. Key Responsibilities Perform routine quality control testing and inspections on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products. Prepare samples and conduct testing according to established procedures, specifications, and applicable industry standards. Accurately document test results and maintain required quality records. Identify and communicate results that fall outside established specifications or quality standards. Assist with troubleshooting quality issues and determining potential causes. Inspect, operate, and maintain laboratory and testing equipment. Perform routine equipment checks, calibrations, and preventative maintenance as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory and work environment. Follow established quality control, safety, and testing procedures. Work closely with Operations, Production, Engineering, and other team members to support quality initiatives. Assist with special testing, customer requirements, product evaluations, and continuous improvement projects as needed. Support additional quality control and laboratory activities based on business needs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical education or training is a plus. Previous experience in quality control, laboratory testing, manufacturing, production, or a related environment preferred. Ability to follow written testing procedures and technical instructions. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document results. Comfortable working with numbers and performing basic mathematical calculations, including percentages, fractions, and decimals. Strong communication and organizational skills. Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot basic testing or equipment issues. Valid driver's license required. Forklift or equipment operating experience is a plus. Ability to perform physical work including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting 45+ lbs. as needed.
