Responsibilities - Practice Coordinator:

• Responsible for the daily operation of their facility and physician practice activities.
• Ensures that all patients are promptly registered and triaged upon arrival, and the timely and efficient operation of the clinics.
• Maintains patient visit and medical records, ensuring compliance with daily appointment schedules and JCAHO or other regulatory standards.
• Assists the physicians and patients with the insurance authorization and precertification process, collects and verifies billing information and facilitates general communications between the patient and the physician's main office.
• Assists the lead coordinator and manager with the development and implementation of new subspecialties in the centers, marketing services within the community and surrounding geographic areas and participating in visitations to local referring physicians.
• Some travel will be required. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Required - 3 years - Medical Office; Or - 1 year - Relevant experience with Associates; Preferred - 2 years - Pediatrics.

Shift Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm; M-F

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies
