TITLE
Registered Nurse - Specialties

SCHEDULE
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS OR HS-ACLS OR RQIACLS) certification required at time of hire
- Experience in an acute care facility preferred
- Critical Care certification within one year of hire for applicable units
- PALS certification required for specific departments at time of hire or within one year of hire
- Neonatal Resuscitation certification within six months for applicable units

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for the designated shift.
- Prescribe nursing care based on the nursing process and input from the patient and significant others.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
- Teach patients and families regarding health management and discharge planning as part of the care process.
- Delegate aspects of patient care delivery to other nursing staff based on their clinical competence and legal scope of practice.
- Incorporate the needs of patients of all ages into care plans.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Must have EPIC experience.
