Position Description

We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our growing team in the corporate Snellville office. The ideal candidate has an Engineering degree with experience in Construction or Civil and able to perform the tasks described below independently. Experience with Primavera Software is preferred.

• Prepare project cost estimates documents and drawings and any other information needed.
• Able to explain details behind each estimate, including the basis of the man-hours allocated for each task, personnel resources needed to execute each task, etc.
• Solicit new subcontractors/suppliers and ensure necessary pre-qualification steps are taken.
• Work with superintendents to organize project schedule.
• Secure pricing, organizing, and issuing of subcontracts for all comprehensive jobs.
• Update wage rates, materials, and equipment costs as needed.
• Deliver timely reports and accurate information to management.
• Research new and upcoming opportunities for viability and fit for industry.
• Perform other duties as required.

Position Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience in managing construction teams
• Success in client relationships
• Previous estimating experience in construction field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with field, management, and clients
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain composure under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Proactive and solutions oriented
