Baptist Health is seeking a motivated individual to join the Baptist team as a Health Unit Coordinator in the Progressive Care Unit. This Health Unit Coordinator role is a Part-Time Weekends opportunity with shifts of Saturday and Sunday 7:00am-7:00pm. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have confidence working in a clerical role. Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs) are responsible for secretarial activities of the nursing unit. Additional Responsibilities Include: Answering call lights and phone calls promptly Ordering and taking inventory of unit supplies and equipment Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Experience Requirements: Education & Credential Requirements: High School Diploma/GED Required Associate's Degree Preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) Required This Health Unit Coordinator will be located at Baptist Medical Center South.
