Data Analyst Co-op

JOB SUMMARYITT Flow Technology is looking for a college co-op student to join our Mixing Industry Continuous Improvement Team. The student will be responsible for helping with improvements to the manufacturing processes as they relate to digital processes and tools. Tools that will be used will include SAP, BW4Hana, Power Query, Power Apps, Power BI, and other MS products. The Co-Op can expect to complete 1-2 major Projects and several smaller focus improvements.   Pay: $25.00HR  Co-op term: Spring 2027  PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCollect, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple business systems and sources. Assist in analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar platforms. Support ad hoc reporting requests and data analysis projects for various business functions. Write and modify SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from databases. Perform data quality checks and help identify and resolve data discrepancies. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and key performance metrics. Document data sources, reporting logic, and analytical methodologies to ensure consistency and accuracy. Assist in the automation of recurring reports and data processes to improve efficiency. Participate in process improvement initiatives by providing data-driven recommendations. Present analytical findings and recommendations to team members and business partners as needed. Maintain compliance with company data governance, security, and confidentiality standards. Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Experience with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
