Veterinary Technician - Cardiology

As a Cardiology Veterinary Technician , you will:

• Provide nursing care to stable patients according to hospital standards of care and core values.

• Report patient signalment, problem list and plan during nursing rounds.

• Calculate basic medical math.

• Understand classification ofcommonly-usedmedications, associated side effects and appropriately monitors therapeutic response.

• Administer medications viaappropriate routesand duration.

• Perform phlebotomy

• Triage and obtain patient history

• Assistclinician with diagnostic procedures

• Patient care including treatments

• Prepare prescriptions and communicate discharge orders to clients
