About the Position

Job Title: Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: Polysomnography Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications: BLS, RPSGT, or Polysomnography License Must-Have: Must have or hold a specific license Description: Position will float between units: No. On-call requirement: No. Weekends are required: Yes, Friday night shift will extend into Saturday morning. Block schedules are required: Yes. Expected patient ratio is 2:1. Must have specific license in hand. Nights will have a patient ratio of 2:1. The facility type is Short Term Acute Care with a total of 108 staff beds. Scrubs for the team can be any color, and scrubs will be provided for certain areas. Charting is done using a specific system. Candidates must have experience with the specified charting system. Daily census involves treating adult and geriatric patients. Common patient diagnoses include obstructive sleep apnea and narcolepsy. It is expected that travelers may float between nearby facilities as required. Completion of pre-start modules is necessary. Communication devices will be provided at no cost to providers. Providers are responsible for their own mobile phone use if not provided. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Inflexibility with the schedule may lead to termination of the contract.
