Business Intelligence Analyst

As a Business Intelligence analyst, you will evaluate business data to produce meaningful insights and metrics, identifying trends that improve business performance. You will encourage best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization, and as a trusted advisor to the business, you will also support end-users to determine information requirements.

You will

• Determine future reporting requirements and strategic needs aligned to the organization/corporate strategy
• Lead cross-functional engagements to define problem statements, establish KPIs, collect/process data, build analytical models, evaluate models, develop self-service analytics solutions, and make/present actionable recommendations to leaders
• Develop, design and maintain PowerBI dashboards
• Deliver valuable analytics insights that informs/guide teams regarding performance around people, processes, and tools
• Solve any data or performance issues related to workbooks and data sources

Essential Requirements

• Education: A bachelor's degree/master’s degree Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Engineering Degree
• 5+ years of experience in analytics and database querying tools
• Extensive experience in developing and managing dashboards and reports in PowerBI
• Knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, data mapping, data understanding and data visualization

Desirable Requirements

• Technical expertise along with presentation and communication skills
• Experience in optimization and manipulation of a high volume of data consider a plus.
• Experience in creating and defining metrics and KPIs driven by business needs.
• Relevant experience in data analytics, business analytics, or data science
• Experience with SQL, Python or R, data visualization tools (Power BI), Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
• Certifications in BI tools is an advantage
• Development experience with Python would be a big plus
• Statistical analysis and mathematical skills

Required Skills : -Power BI knowledge -Expert with Excel manipulations -Experience with a Portfolio Management tool - they utilize Planview, but familiarity with any Portfolio Management tool is okay -JIRA and Confluence Basic Qualification : BI Analyst with strong experience developing exec-level dashboards for KPI reporting. Must be strong in DATA - SQL, Python and R are highly preferred.
