Position Details:

• Locations: Lynwood

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling and mental health services to children, adults, couples, and families who are at risk of abuse and/or neglect.
• Administer parent education classes and groups utilizing approved curriculum.
• Conduct intakes, assessments, and create treatment plans that are catered toward individual needs.
• Provide mental health services in office, in home, in schools, or in community settings based of the program and the individual clients.
• Interface with community psychiatric hospitals, Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), Department of Mental Health (DMH), school personnel, court systems, health care providers, law enforcement, and others as appropriate.
• Provide case management support, providing resources and linking clients to community resources as needed.
• Complete all required documentation, reports, and outcome evaluation forms, in accordance with program, agency, and funder guidelines, and maintain productivity rate as required to meet contract requirements
• Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings, Inter-agency meetings and trainings or professional development activities as assigned.
• Participate in weekly individual supervision, group supervision, and any other supervision as indicated by supervisor and/or program supervisor.
• Comply with applicable professional licensing or certification requirements and ethical standards.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Arrange work schedule or required hours to the benefit of the CAPIT program and clients with the approval of the program administrators.
• Conduct all functions in accordance with Agency guidelines, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Registered with the BBS as an AMFT, ACSW, and APCC in the State of California
• Must have at least one year experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Familiarity with principles of family-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed services and group facilitation.
• Knowledge of local community and experience working with diverse populations is highly desired.
• Fluency in Spanish high preferred.
• Valid California Driver's License with a good driving record.

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of Help Group. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
