Registered Nurse - Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)

Schedule
3x12s (36 hours), Days or Nights

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Medical ICU (MICU) experience
- EPIC experience required
- Valid state or compact RN license in hand at the time of submission
- Required certifications: BCLS (BLS), ACLS, NIHSS - AHA certifications only

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with critical and complex medical conditions.
- Monitor and manage vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
- Implement and adhere to best practices in infection control and safety protocols.

Compliance / Notes
- RN submission requirements: valid compact or state license in hand at the time of submission; 2 professional references required (1 must be manager/director).
- Strict credentialing/fingerprinting timeline: compliance deadline is the Tuesday prior to start.
- Candidates unresponsive to credentialing risk push/cancel.
- RTO required with submission (must be built into the contract).
