Merchandiser

Manage an established sales territory, including selling, servicing, merchandising, administration, and accounts receivable Achieve sales objectives through territory management, product promotion, promotions, in-store tastings, and account servicing Execute merchandising activities including shelf placement, maintaining cold boxes, building displays, and stocking inventories Adapt to changing needs and priorities as a Sales Trainee/Merchandiser Travel within the assigned territory to service accounts Develop and nurture customer relationships to drive sales growth Uphold Johnson Brothers corporate values and provide excellent customer service Complete other work-related tasks and special projects as assigned Provide comprehensive training to new personnel, preparing them to eventually manage their own sales territory Requirements Work experience in the liquor industry, such as bartender, wait staff, or liquor store experience, is a plus Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving results Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively Competitive, self-motivated, and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service Strong written and oral communication skills in a professional manner Capable of lifting up to 50-pound cases, sometimes repeatedly Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on communication and problem resolution Proven ability to multitask efficiently within given time parameters Excellent planning and organizational skills to achieve business goals Proficient in computer applications such as MS Office and Power BI Familiarity with Workday is a plus Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and MVR Possess reliable transportation with valid insurance Local candidates are preferred; no relocation package provided Core Competencies Demonstrates strong sales management capabilities, including territory management, customer relationship development, and effective merchandising strategies.
