An exciting opportunity is open for an experienced Registered Nurse to serve in a school-based setting near Nashua, NH. This contract role is designed for those who thrive in dynamic K-12 environments, delivering top-tier nursing care to students throughout the district's Extended School Year (ESY) program.

Ideal candidates bring strong clinical expertise in school nursing and effective communication skills to collaborate with educators, students, and families. If you adapt easily to different age groups and locations and excel in fast-paced settings, you’ll find this assignment particularly rewarding.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license (NH or compact state)
• Previous experience working as a School RN (elementary, middle, or high school setting preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Exceptional interpersonal and clinical assessment skills
• CPR/BLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care (including medication administration, first aid, and chronic condition management) to students during scheduled ESY dates
• Maintain accurate health records and communication with families and school staff
• Collaborate with teachers and school administration to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment
• Address medical emergencies and implement care plans as needed
• Travel between elementary and high school sites per program schedule

Work Dates & Schedule:

• July 6-9, 8 am–2 pm (high school)
• July 14-18, 8 am–2 pm (elementary and high school)
• July 22-24, 8 am–2 pm (high school)
• July 28-32, 8 am–2 pm (elementary)
• August 4-6, 8 am–12 pm (elementary)
