VCU has a natural nail policy. All ER and Psych candidates are required to submit to fingerprinting as outlined in the code of Virginia, 37.1-183.3. The average turnaround time for the results is 15-20 business days. Candidates are NOT allowed to start with results pending. Please plan start dates accordingly. Modules: All VCU candidates will be assigned modules during orientation on the VCU Learning Exchange. Modules are non-billable, average 6 hours of modules factored in NBO Modules are completed during orientation, and vary by specialty. Modules are required to be completed while working on their unit by the Friday of their orientation week.
