The role you'll contribute:

Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADL) and routine tasks.

• Provides direct patient care and therapeutic interventions. Observes and records patient behaviors and activities accurately.

• Reports changes in patient conditions to appropriate personnel and recommend treatment plan modifications.

• Establishes and maintains therapeutic relationships with assigned patients.

• Collaborates with patients, family members, physicians, and community providers to ensure continuous care.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate appropriately, professionally, and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals

• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry

• Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and local, state, and national laws

• Ability to understand and process instructions from physicians and other personnel

• Proficiency in computer systems to enter and track patient records

Education:

• Associate [Preferred]

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

• Technical/Vocational School in a social science [Required]

Field of Study:

• High School Grad or Equiv Required

Work Experience:

• 1+ of other health care related field [Preferred]

Additional Information:

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) [Preferred]

• NonViolent Crisis Intervention Program [Preferred]
