Custodian

The custodian is responsible for maintaining sanitation levels in and around company facilities as set forth by company standards. Responsibilities include cleaning terminals with hand brooms, power scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuum cleaners to meet company standards. They remove all refuse from offices, restrooms, break-rooms, and buildings daily, ensuring trash cans are empty and clean. They ensure that restrooms are stocked with necessary supplies, relocate, move, and adjust office furniture as necessary, and ensure that pest control systems are operating efficiently and that the highest degree of sanitation and housekeeping is maintained. They remove ice and snow from pedestrian walkways and parking lots, maintain company grounds free from litter and debris, prepare company required reports on labor and equipment, maintain a log on the history of repairs by type of equipment, and perform other duties as instructed by the Operations Manager.
