Location: Wonderspring – Smith Playground Center
Pay: $19.00

About the Position
Wonderspring, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, is seeking dedicated team members to support our Smith Playground Center.  This role is a part-time position, Monday - Friday, 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM,  which provides support throughout our center working with preschool aged children while helping to ensure consistent care and coverage throughout the center.

• Step into different classrooms as needed to help with coverage and maintain ratio.
• Support daily routines and classroom activities
• Provide active supervision at all times to keep children safe
• Build and maintain relationships with children, families, co-workers and administrators.
• Follow and adhere to the responsibilities outlined by the lead teacher for the classroom.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized environments

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• CDA Certification required
• 2+ years of experience working with children, infants and toddlers preferred
• Strong teamwork and flexibility
• Ability to keep information private
• Basic knowledge of childcare rules
• Must obtain all required clearances and complete a Health Assessment with TB screening prior to employment.
