As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Canton, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, badge and access support, and/or emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and delivery areas in support of site protocols, helping to identify unusual behavior and/or policy violations for follow-up.
• Support day-to-day operations by completing reports, maintaining awareness of changing site conditions, and assisting with security-related requests from site leadership and personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
