Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician Location: Middletown, NY Overview: This is a full-time, in-person pediatric behavior technician role based in our Middletown, NY office. The position involves working with young children (ages 2–5) under supervision of our founders and licensed behavior analysts. Services are provided between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, five days per week (Monday–Friday). Key responsibilities: Assist in teaching new skills to patients under the guidance of supervisors and licensed behavior analysts. Review treatment plans and programs, ensure accuracy of data collection, and identify learning opportunities. Deliver engaging, client-centered sessions while following established systems and processes. Maintain professionalism, reliability, punctuality, and open communication within the team. Be adaptable to varying energy levels and needs of individual patients, and contribute to a positive, safe, and fun learning environment. Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality experiences for patients and families. Key qualifications and expectations: Enjoy teaching and working with young children; ability to complete a daily task list with accuracy and enthusiasm. Experience with or ability to learn using iPad, Google Workspace, email, and other computer-based tools. Ability to interact with very young children (2–5 years old), including those who are nonspeaking; comfortable being active, moving, bending, and guiding physical activities with children. A patient, detail-oriented approach; ability to review and follow treatment plans, ask questions, and ensure tasks are completed correctly. Strong data collection skills and a willingness to identify and pursue learning opportunities. Personality that fits a collaborative, supportive environment; balanced energy to match each patient and maintain a positive atmosphere. Compensation and schedule: Pay: $20 per hour. Hours: up to 38.5 hours per week; in-person, five days per week (Monday–Friday). Location: Middletown, NY office only (not virtual).
