Quality Inspector IIIWork just three days a week — and enjoy a four-day weekend every week. In this role, you'll inspect PCB assemblies and box-build electronic products against IPC-A-610 and customer standards, using AOI, microscopes, and magnification equipment to catch what others might miss. You'll also be a resource for the team around you — mentoring junior inspectors, collaborating with Engineering and Production, and providing the kind of real-time feedback that prevents defects before they become problems.If you have a strong electronics inspection background and take pride in doing precise, impactful work, this is a role where that expertise will be visible every day.What You'll DoInspect PCB assemblies, subassemblies, and box-build products for compliance with IPC-A-610 and customer requirementsPerform SMT, through-hole, modification, final, and rework inspections as requiredRead and interpret drawings, specifications, and job travelers to verify product conformanceUtilize inspection tools including AOI, magnification lamps, microscopes, and other visual inspection equipmentAccurately document inspection results using daily inspection sheets or FactoryLogixCommunicate inspection findings and quality concerns to Engineering, Quality, Production, and leadershipProvide real-time feedback to production personnel to support corrective action and defect preventionTrain and mentor Quality Inspector I & II team members on inspection techniques, standards, and proceduresParticipate in internal quality audits, Lean initiatives, and daily pass-down meetingsFollow all quality policies, safety procedures, and maintain a clean, organized work areaWhat You BringHigh school diploma or GED requiredAssociate degree in Electronics or related field, OR a minimum of 3 years of quality inspection experience in electronics manufacturingStrong attention to detail with the ability to evaluate product quality against written documentationBasic computer skills including data entry; experience with FactoryLogix a plusBasic math skills and ability to interpret charts, graphs, and performance dataEffective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teamsReliable, punctual, and adaptable in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishMust be eligible to work in an ITAR-controlled facility (U.S. Person status required)CertificationsIPC-A-610 certification required (must be obtained within one year of hire; in-house training provided)Milwaukee Electronics Component Identification course (must be completed within one year of hire; in-house training provided)Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
