Maintenance Technician

Position : Maintenance Technician. Location : Stow, Massachusetts. Anticipated Start Date : July 1, 2026. About the Role Masters Academy International is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to ensure the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of our campus facilities. This pivotal role is responsible for maintaining critical building systems—including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing—while proactively addressing maintenance needs to support a high‑quality learning environment. The ideal professional will combine technical expertise with a service‑oriented mindset and a commitment to excellence, managing routine inspections and repairs while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance to ensure a secure campus for our student‑athletes and staff. What You Will Do You will be the primary guardian of our campus infrastructure, ensuring the safe and uninterrupted operation of all facility systems. You will diagnose malfunctions and execute repairs—from minor carpentry and painting to complex technical troubleshooting. You will conduct regular hazard inspections, support emergency preparedness protocols, and ensure strict compliance with OSHA standards, directly impacting the quality of the learning environment. Qualifications Education : High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred. Experience : 3–5 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or a similar role. Expertise : Demonstrated ability in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems; ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics; familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) preferred. Knowledge : Local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA standards and school safety policies; ability to conduct regular safety inspections and address hazards proactively.
