Diesel Technician-Emergency Vehicle Shop (Good Pay, Weekends Off)

Job Location: Rockland/Westchester - Congers, NY 10920 Salary Range: $28.00 - $40.00 hourly Job Shift: Day Job Category: Skilled Labor - Trades Benefits Performance-based bonuses available, supplementing hourly wages. Five‑day work week with no weekend shifts; inclusive of holiday pay and paid time off. Support for work‑life balance, allowing employees to recharge outside of the shop. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in professional diesel repair. Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and other heavy‑duty systems on emergency vehicles. Conduct vehicle maintenance, including tire service, shocks and struts, wheel alignments, and electrical diagnostics. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues. Fabricate or modify parts using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques as needed. Follow safety protocols diligently while performing repairs and maintenance tasks. Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately in service records. #J-18808-Ljbffr Paycom
