OB High Risk Ultrasound Technologist

Duties:

• Perform High-Risk OB/GYN ultrasound examinations while ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.
• Schedule and prepare patients for ultrasound procedures.
• Educate patients on the examination process and address questions or concerns.
• Review patient history and collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate imaging.
• Operate ultrasound equipment, select appropriate imaging parameters, and ensure optimal image quality.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and report any significant changes.
• Document patient encounters and imaging results accurately using Epic EMR and PACS.
• Perform routine equipment checks, maintain supplies, and support quality assurance initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with the department supervisor regarding workflow, scheduling, and completed procedures.

Skills:

• High-Risk OB/GYN Ultrasound experience
• Experience using Epic EMR and PACS
• Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills with a high level of professionalism
• Bilingual in Spanish - preferred
• Experienced hospital or outpatient Ultrasound Technologist
• Compassionate, patient-focused, professional, adaptable, and able to build strong relationships with patients and multidisciplinary teams in a community hospital environment.

Education:

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program (Military training accepted)
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) through ARDMS (Required)

Shift:

• Monday Friday
• 9:00 AM 5:00 PM (1 hour of Lunch)
• 7 hours/day (35 hours/week)
• No weekends or holidays
