Job Opportunity – Cardiac Catheterization Lab RN – West Virginia

Start Date: October 15, 2026

Location: West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, Days (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) with on-call rotation. On-call requirements include 2-3 weekday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM as second call, and approximately one weekend call every 4-5 weeks (Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM). Teams rotate first and second call every 12 hours. 2-hour call-back minimum applies. Guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Highlights:

• Daily caseload of 8-10 procedures per clinician in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab
• Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital with 838 staffed beds
• Comprehensive experience with diagnostic and interventional procedures including structural cases
• Cerner charting system with 16 hours of orientation provided
• Minimal floating; clinicians remain within the Cath Lab environment
• Free parking provided for traveling clinicians

Requirements:

• Active West Virginia RN license or Compact license (pending license accepted for submission but must be active prior to start)
• ARRT registration required
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year Cath Lab experience with competency in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional procedures including structural cases
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association required)
• Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted for this assignment
• Competency in circulating, moderate sedation, assessment, medications, and pre/post-op care
• 2 Manager or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years required
• Permanent address must be 100+ miles from the facility (75-99 miles may be considered with approval)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
