Senior Healthcare Data Solutions Architect

Inspiration Global is seeking a highly experienced Senior Healthcare Data Solutions Architect to join our growing healthcare consulting practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned, hands-on data architect who is passionate about designing enterprise-scale healthcare data solutions that drive business outcomes.

The selected candidate will initially support a strategic healthcare engagement in the Pittsburgh area and will subsequently serve as a lead data architect across multiple healthcare initiatives throughout Pennsylvania.

We are looking for an architect who enjoys solving complex data challenges, working closely with business and technical teams, and delivering practical, scalable solutions. This is a hands-on architecture role—not a presentation-focused position.

Position Summary

The Senior Healthcare Data Solutions Architect will lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise healthcare data platforms supporting analytics, reporting, operational intelligence, and digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical architecture expertise with deep healthcare domain knowledge and can confidently translate business requirements into scalable data solutions. This individual will work closely with executives, business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and application teams to build modern healthcare data ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Data Architecture

• Design enterprise-scale healthcare data platforms and solution architectures.
• Develop logical, conceptual, and physical data models.
• Create scalable architectures supporting clinical, financial, operational, and analytical workloads.
• Define enterprise data standards, governance, and architecture best practices.

Data Modeling & Information Architecture

• Design normalized and dimensional data models.
• Establish master data and reference data strategies.
• Define metadata management and data lineage approaches.
• Ensure high-quality, reusable, and scalable data structures.

Healthcare Analytics & KPI Design

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify strategic business metrics.
• Define enterprise KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
• Design semantic data layers supporting self-service analytics.
• Translate business objectives into measurable performance indicators.

Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Architect end-to-end healthcare data solutions from source systems through analytics.
• Provide technical leadership throughout project execution.
• Mentor development teams and establish architecture standards.
• Review solution designs and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture principles.

Healthcare Data Strategy

• Support enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Define roadmaps for data transformation and analytics capabilities.
• Improve scalability, governance, interoperability, and long-term sustainability.
• Collaborate with leadership to align technology investments with business goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with healthcare business leaders, product owners, project managers, and technical teams.
• Translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture reviews, strategic planning sessions, and executive discussions.
• Communicate architecture decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.​

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing enterprise data solutions.
• Extensive experience architecting healthcare data platforms.
• Strong expertise in:
