Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Paul House & Health Care Center – Chicago, IL
Paul House & Health Care Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our nursing team. Our LPNs play an important role in providing quality, resident-centered care while working collaboratively with CNAs, nursing leadership, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Full-time and part-time opportunities are available across AM and PM shifts.

Provide safe and appropriate nursing care to residents
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
Monitor residents and promptly report significant changes in condition
Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation
Assist with the development and implementation of resident care plans
Supervise and appropriately delegate responsibilities to CNAs
Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and members of the interdisciplinary team
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, and other nursing leadership
Maintain resident dignity, privacy, safety, and quality of care
Follow facility policies, procedures, infection-control practices, and applicable regulatory requirements
Perform additional nursing duties as assigned
Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Illinois
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to supervise and appropriately delegate to nursing staff
Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Must meet applicable health and background requirements
Available 12-hour shifts include:
AM: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
PM: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Weekend availability may be required
