Job Description:
The Surgical Tech will work in a busy, fast-paced CVOR setting, providing assistance during cardiovascular surgeries. Varied shifts including call requirements will be part of the assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgical team during cardiovascular operations.
- Maintain sterile field and ensure readiness of instruments and equipment.
- Participate in patient care pre- and post-surgery when necessary.
Requirements:
- Current BLS certification.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA.
- 2 years of CVOR experience minimum.
- Ability to read and interpret EKG strips.
