Litigation Paralegal

Obtain, review, and analyze medical, financial, tax, and employment records Create detailed medical and factual chronologies Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files Compile evidence through discovery documents, transcripts, records, libraries, and databases Manage and organize electronic and physical case files Coordinate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and support services Generate status reports, logs, and case indexes Correspond with clients and opposing law firms Conduct legal and medical research, including review of expert materials Communicate with experts and analyze their qualifications, prior testimony, transcripts, and publications Perform additional duties as needed Support civil defense litigation involving construction, insurance, contract, licensure, and liability claims Requirements 3–5 years of litigation/construction paralegal experience Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree required Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple assignments Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism Willingness to learn and adapt as new skills are required Dedication to fostering teamwork and cooperation Ability to independently maintain a caseload Experience managing fast-paced discovery and preparing cases for trial Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in litigation support, including managing case files, conducting legal and medical research, and preparing trial materials.
